The short version: we ask for your email address and nothing else, we keep it until the beta ends, and you can have it deleted at any time.

What we ask for

Your email address, and only if you type it into the beta form yourself. We do not ask for your name, your Showdown username, or anything else. There are no analytics scripts and no tracking cookies on this site, so simply reading this page tells us nothing about you.

Where it goes, and what else it carries

When you submit the form, your browser sends it toFormPost, a form service hosted in Germany, which stores the submission on our behalf. It never touches a server we run.

Being straight with you: a form submission is an ordinary web request, so alongside your email address FormPost also receives your IP address and your browser's user agent. That is true of every form on the web. We mention it because most sites do not. Your data stays inside the EU, and nothing is sent to FormPost unless you actually press the button.

What we use it for

One thing: contacting you about the closed beta. We will not sell it, we will not share it, and we will not add you to any other list.

How long we keep it

Until the beta ends, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. When the beta is over, the list is deleted.

Getting removed

Ask us on @j41va on Xand we delete your address. No form to fill in, no questions asked. You can also reply to any email we send you.
